Promises: Super deep conditioning for a seriously simple fix to dry, damaged hair. It’s your own little wonder for wrongdoing done to your ‘do.

Directions: Work into clean, wet hair. Use the next 2 minutes and 45 seconds to think deep thoughts about your day. Rinse then go!

Ingredients: Water, stearyl alcohol, cyclopentasiloxane, cetyl alcohol, stearamidopropyl dimethylamine, dimethicone, fragrance, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, ecklonia radiata extract, benzyl alcohol, EDTA, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, glutamic acid

My Assessment:
Packaging: I call this packaging for this conditioner a “tubble” because it’s to me, it’s a cross between a bottle and a tube. The design makes it easy to squeeze and dispense the conditioner. It’s not jar but I appreciate that all it takes is a squeeze to get going.

Fragrance: This conditioner has a pleasant, floral fragrance that does not linger.

Consistency: This conditioner has a creamy consistency that’s a bit on the thick side but sinks right into my hair.

Number of uses: I get 4-5 uses from one “tubble.”

See what I mean by “tubble?”

Effectiveness: I bought this conditioner on a whim and didn’t know what to expect from it. During my mid-week conditioning sessions, I’ve used it a couple different ways: (1) I’ve applied it to dry hair, steamed, then rinsed it out, (2) I’ve applied it to damp hair, steamed, then rinsed it out, but it works best for me when I’ve (3) applied it to wet hair, let it sit for 3-4 minutes, then rinsed… just as directed, go figure lol.

It contains stearyl alcohol and cetyl alcohol, which are both fatty
alcohols that are emollients and moisturize the hair (a post on “good”
alcohols will up be next week) as well as aloe leaf extract. Aloe vera, as well glutamic acid are is a humectants that draw moisture into the hair.

This conditioner softens my hair up fairly quickly and detangles any knots or clumps of hair (my hair loves to clump together at the roots) I have have. It rinses out well, provides slip, and does not leave my scalp or hair feeling coated, which in the past was my biggest deterrent for co-washing. I like to do my mid-week co-wash/deep conditioning sessions on days that I’ve a lot of cardio and have sweat quick a bit (and I sweat a lot from my scalp!) so this conditioner has been helpful in restoring moisture to my dry new growth. The few times I have applied it to my hair and steamed with it, it
didn’t work as well as my other deep conditioners do so I won’t be replacing my tried and true deep conditioner for this conditioner any time soon, but for a quick 3
minute co-wash, it’s great and a keeper.

Have you tried this conditioner? Like it? Love it? Left it?
