A reader asked: “Do you use a color rinse or henna to get your hair that color/highlights?
No ma’am I don’t. This is my natural hair color and highlights (thanks Mom! lol). Henna is an easy way to dye hair a reddish/brownish tint though.
I’ve been loving Organix serums lately. Specifically, the Organix Shea Butter Liquid Glass Serum and the Organix Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum. I’ve mentioned before that I stopped using the Coconut Milk Serum for a while but rediscovered it in November and since then I’ve been using it consistently.
Sometimes I apply a little to ends in the morning, sometimes I section my hair in halves and apply to the length of my hair before I cross wrap, and sometimes I even use them to seal my moisturizer. I kid you not, in using the Coconut Milk serum I have seen a noticeable decrease in breakage during daily manipulation and smoother texture (which I think I’ve mentioned before). What I also love is that the serums have a silky texture to them, not a sticky one. I use the Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum more because it’s geared towards decreasing breakage and the Shea Butter Serum on my ends to help smooth them and add a little shine to my hair. I’m excited to see how my retention will improve.
I’ve been slacking on taking my vitamins and drinking 60 oz of water a day. I need to work on that because I’m just being lazy.
