My Assessment: I was in Ulta one day and decided to purchase this conditioner on a whim but am happy I did. I have used this to deep condition three times, each on dry hair and have been rewarded with moisturized hair each time. Although the directions instruct to leave on for 5 minutes, I left the product on for an hour and sat under my heating cap. I have to point out that this was the first conditioner I have ever used to deep condition on dry hair (I had previously only DC’d on freshly washed hair) and was pleasantly rewared with soft moisturized hair. The real test of a conditioner is always how hair feels when dry and even after shampooing, once dry, my hair still felt soft and I experience decrease in breakage during the week.

This conditioner has a thick consistency, a plus for me because I prefer thick conditioners but it does make it a harder to spread on dry hair and as a result, I had to use more of the product than if I DC’d on wet hair, so I only got 4 uses from my 8.5 fl oz tube. This may be a useless complaint but I do wish this product was packaged in a bottle or jar rather than a tube, just because it would be easier to get all the product out of a jar, or up-ending a bottle. I will definitely repurchase again, but because of its thickness and having to use more to DC on dry hair, I think I’ll be repurchasing only when on sale.
