My Assessment: This is the third serum I’ve tried since I began my hair journey and it’s become my favorite. I primarily use this serum when roller setting my hair. I apply to my hair in sections and then detangle. It makes detangling so much easier because it provides a lot of slip. I really like this serum because it doesn’t leave my hair crunchy when dry or sticky when wet, and a little goes a long way. When I first purchased this serum, I was a bit hesitant to believe that this would smooth my hair, but it does. Once my hair is dry it feels very smooth and light. The first serum I ever used left my hair crunchy once I removed my rollers, I’m happy this is not the case with this serum. My only con about this serum is that it’s not really a heat protectant so I wouldn’t reach for this if I flat-iron my hair (although I have once – I will not do so again.) For a heat protectant serum, I’d reach for my CHI Silk Infusion instead. Other than that, this serum is a keeper for me.

With smiles,
