Revisiting An Old Fave: Jāsön Vitamin E Oil

My ends were feeling really dry (my fault, skipped moisturizing and sealing and after my ends pretty wet from sweat while working out) so I had a eureka moment and went hunting for my bottle of pure vitamin E oil to apply to my ends. I found this bottle first and after scanning the ingredients, I chastised myself for not using it more often. For the life of me I can’t remember I stopped using it when it’s packed with ceramide oils. You all know how much I love ceramides! It’s been a while since I’ve done a hot oil treatment but I just couldn’t pass one up while clutching all that oily goodness.

I used it for my hot oil treatment tonight and my ends feel much better. I had this oil blend in my hair for an hour (with my Hot Head conditioning cap over it) and my hair felt so silky when I took off the cap and was breeze to finger detangle. I found numerous split ends when I cut my hair last week so I think it’s time to revisit hot oil treatments with this gem.

And yes, the bottle does say “skin oil” but oils are wonderful at being beneficial for both skin and hair.

It's a little of the thick/heavy side, but yes, it can be used to seal moisturizers.

  5. I revisited ORS Replenishing Conditioner last wash day. I love this stuff. I think it was put on the back burner for ORS Hair Mayo.
