Reply HairPorn October 14, 2012 at 4:23 pm Yes, beautiful length. Isn't it a drag to get the "are you mixed" questions? Your clearly not; Black is Beautiful! I'm a Haitian women aswell 🙂 again beautiful. Reply Hafsah October 14, 2012 at 4:11 am Hi Jen, I do like the video response but you looked a little uncomfortable.Either way I love the fact that you actually take the time out to dedicate this section of your blog to us. Thanks a bunch. Your hair looks beautiful and you're such an inspiration for me while I'm still on my journey recovering from a self serviced setback lol, keep up the good work with your hair. Reply Ebony CPrincess October 14, 2012 at 1:03 am I watched this from my phone yesterday, the mixed question response was SO funny! It looked like you wanted to say "I'm black and black…" Your hair is SO long and fabulous, I love that your hard work has paid off! Reply Jen October 14, 2012 at 1:17 am That's exactly what was going through my head, haha. I didn't get the mixed question until after I got a little length, SMH. Thank you! Reply Pebbles October 13, 2012 at 9:43 pm I really enjoyed your video…hats off to both the written and verbal approach. 🙂 Reply Jen October 14, 2012 at 1:14 am Thanks Pebbles! Reply Anonymous October 13, 2012 at 6:36 pm I like both the video and the written responses. Written answers make it easier to search for a specific answer, whereas the video gives your responses a much more personal touch 🙂 Oh, and quick question, what software do you use to edit your videos? Love, love, love your blog! Tiara Reply Jen October 14, 2012 at 1:14 am I'll try and maintain a happy balance. Easier, common questions via video, more detailed questions via text. I use iMovie to edit my videos 🙂 Reply Mimi October 13, 2012 at 4:20 pm Great video! Very nice change! I would love to see more videos! Reply Jen October 14, 2012 at 1:13 am Thanks! I'll try and make more. Reply ivydoll October 13, 2012 at 4:06 pm Great video, your honesty is beautiful. You simply the best Reply Jen October 14, 2012 at 1:13 am Aww thanks Ivy! Reply Kitty October 13, 2012 at 3:44 pm I like the video too. I agree that you should talk faster and maybe edit because it did drag a bit. I hope to see more of you in the future! Reply Jen October 14, 2012 at 1:08 am I hope to make more, thanks for the feedback Kitty! Reply Anonymous October 13, 2012 at 2:48 pm Nice video. Thanks for answering the questions. I would suggest possibly speaking faster and editing out the parts where you hesitate or mumble. Reply Jen October 14, 2012 at 1:08 am Will do, thanks for the feedback! Reply Scarlett October 13, 2012 at 1:55 pm Good video. Its a nice way to answer some common questions people had. Your cat is cute too! Reply Jen October 14, 2012 at 1:13 am Thanks Scarlett! Reply Brooke October 13, 2012 at 8:06 am I think the video is a great idea but the text version might be easier for you! Reply Jen October 14, 2012 at 1:10 am Ya, writing is easier (editing videos takes much longer). I think I'll save the videos for the shorter, less detailed responses. Reply Anonymous October 13, 2012 at 7:07 am Great vid your hair is so beautiful! I have a q: do you expierence any breakage? I am retaining and my hair is longer than ever (almost bsl), the absoloute minimum in manipulation and always protective styling, relax every 8 to 10 wks. I feel like I'm doing everything right but I always get breakage. Its not excessive or anything, but when I get broken strands they are like an inch in length and its just really frustrating. Reply Jen October 14, 2012 at 1:12 am Thank you! For the most part I only get see breakage when combing roughly through dry hair. My hair has been loving moisture lately and moisturizing and sealing nightly, and using Organix Anti-Breakage Serum when wearing my hair down, my breakage has been reduced drastically. Hope this helps! Reply Kyla Johnson October 13, 2012 at 4:44 am I liked the video. Thanks for the answers. Reply Leave a Comment Cancel Reply Notify me of follow-up comments by email.
