Wash Day w/ Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Line

As mentioned in yesterday’s post, I unfortunately could not locate Organix’s Moroccan Argan Oil in my area but picked up PM’s Super Skinny line instead. I had been eying this line for months but just never got around purchasing it – Lord knows  why I swear I feel like I’ve tried out every other PM product lol, but I digress. I already had a small bottle of the Super Skinny Serum so I grabbed a bottle of the Super Skinny Daily Shampoo and Super Skinny Daily Treatment from CVS while I was out.

I did a hot oil treatment yesterday with Vatika Frosting for an hour and hopped in the shower and shampooed in two sections. After I rinsed I applied the SS Daily Treatment and lightly detangled my hair for no more than 2 or 3 minutes. Next, I rinsed out the treatment and deep conditioned with PM Super-Charged Moisturizer – 30 minutes under my heating cap and 30 minutes without to let my hair cool down. After I rinsed out the conditioner, I sprayed my hair with PM Awapuhi Mist, applied PM The Conditioner (leave-in). I applied the Skinny Serum only to the section of hair I was about to roller set, and rewet with just water as I went. Since one of my goals in life is to maintain healthy ends, I used end wrap paper before I rolled my hair onto the roller.

After my hair dried, I rubbed a little sweet almond oil through my hair, saran wrapped my hair, and went back under the dryer for 10 minutes. The saran warp gave my hair much sleeker, smoother look and flattened out most of the curls. I covered my hair with my silks scarf my hair and went to bed. The next morning I still had body but lost the curls, which is my preference. Overall, my hair feels muuuchh smoother and silkier than usual. It’s light and has “swang.” I love the end results. The Super Skinny line is definitely going to my PM rotation 🙂
