Product Review: Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner

I’ve been using this conditioner for a couple weeks.  It takes me a couple uses to get a consistent feel of how a well a product goes with my hair.

Price: $14

Purchased At: Trade Secrets

Promises: Hydrate excessively dry, brittle, and coarse hair with this humectant-rich conditioner.  Its deep penetrating formula replenishes moisture for greater elasticity, manageability and shine.

Pros:  This conditioner provides great slip.  It makes detangling my hair very easy.  Every time I apply it, it’s as though it just soaks right into my hair.  After I’ve sat under the dryer and then rinsed, my hair is instantly noticeably moisturized and shaft from the shaft out.  Even after my hair has dried, it remains soft.  Lastly, it leaves my hair a pleasant (I say coconutty) smell – I’ve caught myself spread my hair across my face just to smell it lol!

Cons: I’ve found that if I don’t rinse this conditioner out THROUGHLY it leaves behind a film on my scalp and I suffer with the itchies throughout the week.
